Questions and Answers:
Question 1: Several of the models listed below have been replaced with new model numbers.
Answer 1: A substitution for a more modern or updated Follett model is acceptable.
Question 2: Both ice dispensers listed have conflicting information. If they want the icemaker to be removable from the base, the correct model should be our freestanding model and not the countertop.
Answer 2: The requirement is Qty:10 of the 25lb ice makers in countertop configuration, Qty: 3 of the 25lb ice makers in free standing configuration, and Qty: 1 of the 50lb ice makers in countertop configuration.
Question 3: They have a Neutronpenic Filter listed. I am not familiar with this. Would you be able to obtain clarification on this as well, please?
Answer 3: This is a pre-filter for filtering out bacteria in the water. This item is only required if it is an option offered by the equipment manufacturer.
Question 4: Lastly, item 6. Is this a 20 cu ft refrigerator or REF5P?
Answer 4: The requirement if for Qty: 11 of the REF5P, and also Qty: 1 of the 20cu ft REF20-PH-R0000G. Question 5: When will this be shipping? Most VAs handle their own installation. However, is this something that you want us to include?
Answer 5: Delivery shall occur between September 4th 2025 and November 15th 2025. From the SOW: The contractor will provide and install the following refrigerators, freezers, and ice machines. Installation will include delivery and placement in required locations, removing, and disposing of any packaging materials and trash, and assembly... VA will hook up water, drains and electricity as required. It is the contractor s responsibility to allow and accompany VA employees to thoroughly inspect and test devices. It is the contractor s responsibility to document and report any device found defective or unacceptable to the COR and replace defective or unacceptable device at no cost to the government.
