Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish an agreement with a Contractor to furnish all tools, labor, materials, insecticides, pesticides, bait boxes, trapping devices, equipment, pest surveillance and detection equipment, pest monitoring devices, licensing, necessary supervision, etc., as required, to successfully provide pest control services at its Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport (MARS) facilities of which includes multiple locations on Wallops Island and Temperanceville, Virginia. The Contractor shall provide comprehensive pest control services (inspection, treatment, and elimination) of various pests including:⢠Mosquitos⢠Ticks⢠Other insects, rodents, and vermin (included but not limited to rats, mice, cockroaches, ants, moths, crickets, spiders, bees, flies, and silverfish) ⢠Termite control and stinging insect treatment â optional, on an as-requested basisServices shall include chemical applications, inspection, monitoring, and maintenance in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
