PEST CONTROL SERVICES (Housing Authority of Salt Lake City)

Project Description: Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC) is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured pest management firms to establish a small pool of contractors with whom it will enter into contracts to provide pest control services at HASLC-owned and affiliate-owned residential properties and administrative offices. HASLC anticipates awarding contracts to more than one firm and will utilize the resulting pool to obtain services on a regular, recurring schedule and on an as-needed basis, in accordance with the Scope of Service in the RFP document.
HASLC intends to engage contractors capable of delivering a comprehensive, environmentally responsible Integrated Pest Management (“IPM”) program emphasizing prevention, long-term control, resident education, and reduced reliance on chemical pesticides, consistent with HUD guidance and industry best practices.
