BACKGROUND :

Workforce Solutions Cameron (Board) is a private,non-profit corporation that provides policy planning, oversight and evaluationof a consolidated workforce development system in the Cameron County TexasWorkforce Development Area. Servicesoffered through two one stop centers include the Workforce Investment Act(Adult, Dislocated and Youth), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF),Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Trade Adjustment Act (TAA),Wagner-Peyser Act (ES), Child Care and other smaller grants.

SERVICES REQUESTED:

The purpose of this Request for Quote is to procure a LicensedPest Control Applicator to provide pest control services for WorkforceSolutions Cameron Board office and Workforce Centers listed below.

The list ofbuildings and/or locations above is subject to additions or deletions duringthe course of the term contract.

PestControl Services must include, but not be limited to:

Pest Control services(performed monthly)

All areas to be inspected on a monthly basis.  The Contractor shall provide preventive treatment to prevent infestations.

1. Infestations shall be treated urgently until controlled at no additional charge to Workforce Solutions Cameron.
2. Service to include ants, roaches, fleas, rodents, crawlings, insects, flying insects, rats and mice. Termite Control is NOT included.
3. Spray all areas in the interior of each facility, including all hallways, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and storage areas.
4. Spray exterior perimeters of each facility.
5. Furnish all chemicals, materials and equipment.
6. Wear distinctive, uniform clothing and provide identification upon entrance to the facility.
7. Notify the Facilities Manager of any precautionary actions, which may be recommended by the Contractor.
8. On days of treatments, approve work beforehand with the center director or designee at the specific treatment site.
9. Use non-flammable chemicals registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
10. Remove and dispose of all excess and/or unneeded chemicals, materials, or equipment after applications are completed.
11. Quarterly flea treatments on all facilities.
