INTENT
The intent of this bid is to establish a contract with a commercial pest control company to provide complete integrated pest management service and other related matters pertaining to pest control, preventive maintenance, elimination and disposal.
TERM OF CONTRACT
July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 for Facilities and Food Services.
QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDER
The bidder must meet all the requirements of the current State of New Jersey “School Integrated Pest Management Act” and:
1. Must be a member of good standing of the state and national pest control associations.
2. Must have at least 10 years of experience in the pest control industry with 5 years of Public educational facilities experience.
3. Possess a valid certified pesticide applicator's business license with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Agency. (Copy of the License must be provided with the bid) and other certifications as required by law.
4. Employ a minimum of five (5) applicators licensed and certified as per N.J.A.C 7:30-6.4 and 6.5 or current code citation.
5. Provide five (5) references demonstrating experience in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs for public school environments similar in size and scope.
6. Provide the name of an Entomologist consultant employed or retained by the applicator business. The Entomologist must be able to provide test results or answer questions in a timely fashion as determined by the Director of Operations.
