2026 Perry Highway (SR19) and Northgate Drive Improvements Project
Dear Mr. Rullo:
Please place the following Legal Notice in the Local Xtra Section [North] of your Thursday, July 23, 2026 and Thursday,
July 30, 2026 issues of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and furnish the usual proof of publication:
“Marshall Township
INVITATION FOR BIDS
Marshall Township will receive bids for the PERRY HIGHWAY (SR 19) AND NORTHGATE DRIVE
IMPROVEMENTS project.
Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2026 by Marshall Township, 525 Pleasant Hill
Road, Suite 100, Wexford, PA, 15090. All envelopes containing bid proposals shall be clearly marked “PERRY
HIGHWAY (SR 19) AND NORTHGATE DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS”. Bids will be publicly opened and read
aloud at that time.
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of Trans Associates Engineering Consultants,
Inc., 4955 Steubenville Pike, Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, upon a non-refundable payment of $100.00 for
each set of plans and specifications. Digital copies are also available upon request at no fee. Digital plan requests
can be sent to Cliff Eich at eichc@transassociates.com.
A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Marshall Township, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed
by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be
submitted with each bid. All bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis.
Marshall Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and submit proof thereof with
their bid.
Bidder shall comply with all state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination in hiring or employment
opportunities.
Pennsylvania prevailing minimum wage rates will apply.
Bids may be held by Marshall Township for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of opening
of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding the
Contract.
