Permanent Patching of Utility Trenches in City Streets

The City of Bristol, Connecticut is seeking bids for permanent patching of utility trenches and other related work at various locations throughout the City, for the period through December 31, 2025.

Bids will be accepted until April 2, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the City of Bristol Purchasing Department, 111 North Main Street, 3 ^nd Floor, Bristol CT 06010, at which time bids will be opened and read. Bids received after the opening date and time will not be considered for award. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest.

Each bid shall be in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Bristol Purchasing Department, identified as "Bid 2C25-062 Permanent Patching of Utility Trenches in City Streets" accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of base bid amounts, in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Bristol.

The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut.

Firms submitting bids must be pre-qualified with the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (“DAS”) to perform concrete and/or site work and shall include with their bid a copy of a current certificate as issued by DAS. Additionally, any contractor or subcontractor performing any work on this contract must be pre-qualified with DAS to perform said services and shall include with their bid a copy of a current certificate as issued by DAS.
