Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association (PPFFA) Memorial Project

Project Description: Sealed proposals for the Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association (PPFFA) Memorial Project, will be received online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) by PPFFA until 3:00 PM prevailing time on JULY 17, 2026; then publicly opened and read aloud. Bid Results will be publicly posted on PennBid following the opening of all bid documents. The project includes but not limited to site work associated with the memorial being furnished by others.
Two (2) Contracts will be awarded for this work:
Contract 1 – General Construction
Contract 2 – Electrical Construction
Complete sets of the Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be obtained online at no cost via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net)
Each Proposal shall be accompanied by cash or by certified check or Bidder's Bond in favor of PPFFA in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Proposal, as evidence the Bidder will accept and carry out the conditions of the Contract in case of award.
The Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all Bids.
The Successful Bidder will be required to enter into a Contract with the Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association and to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond in the full amount of their Bid.
No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 90 days after the actual date of opening thereof.
All applicable laws, ordinances and the rules and regulations of the authorities having jurisdiction over the work shall apply to the Contract throughout.
Bidders will be required to execute a Non-Collusion Affidavit and submit it with their Bids.
The Successful Bidders will be required to comply with all Federal, State, and local Laws and Regulations governing prevailing wage determination and fair employment practices which may be applicable to this Contract.
