The County of Franklin is seeking bids to pave the Penhall Collection Facility located at 931 Dillards Hill Road, Union Hall, VA 24176.Sealed bids for the Penhall Collection Facility Paving Project will be received by Franklin County, Attn: Corey White, 1255 Franklin Street, Suite 111, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, October 16th, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud. The project consists of paving the collection facility lot consisting of 2,450sy of pavement estimated at 825 tons of asphalt.Copies of the contract documents may be examined by appointment only at the office of Engineering Concepts, Inc., 94 Greenfield Street, Daleville, Virginia, 24083 during normal business hours.Hard copies of the documents may be purchased for $75.00 from Engineering Concepts, Inc., 94 Greenfield Street, Daleville, Virginia 24083. The payment is non-refundable. The payment shall be in the form of a check or money order with the name of the project written on the payment.A digital copy of the documents may be obtained by emailing bwampler@engineeringconcepts.com at no charge.Should the apparent low Bid exceed available funds, the Owner reserves the right to negotiate with the apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within available funds. Bidders shall comply with Virginia Code Section 54.1-1112 regarding information required with Bid.
