Pedestrian Improvement & Traffic Calming Plans RFQ

DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO THURSDAY, APRIL 17, 2025.

The Town of Wendell is seeking an experienced consultant to provide design recommendations that will improve pedestrian, bicycle and golf cart facilities, as well as enhance safety through traffic calming measures, on three Town corridors: Big Falls Drive, Taylor Road, and Hollybrook Road. The Town is requesting conceptual designs for approximately 5 total miles across these corridors. The Town of Wendell’s Planning Department is leading this project.

Questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted in writing by email to Ryan Eldridge-Burch, Planner III at rburch@townofwendellnc.gov no later than 5:00pm on March 31, 2025 Questions received after this date and time will not be considered for response. Upon receipt of questions, an Addendum will be issued if deemed necessary no later than 5:00pm on April 1, 2025.

Five (5) copies should be included in the submission. Submission of the statement of qualifications is due no later than 2:00pm, April 17th, 2025, at Wendell Town Hall, 409 Landing View Drive, Wendell NC 27591. No statement of qualifications will be accepted after this time.
