Project Description: INTRODUCTION:
The Town of Palm Beach, Florida (“The Town”) is requesting qualified vendors to submit competitive bids for the purchase of A Carolina Skiff Fiber Glass Shallow Water Boat Model 17LS with 90 HP Mercury with Aluminum Trailer, T- top with canvass, BayStar Hydraulic Steering with Tilt Helm and a Jack Plate for the motor to be mounted to which will allow for the motor to rise higher in shallow water. Boat must travel in as little as 7 inches of water and has a great warranty.

SUBMISSION:

NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING
A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting will be held virtually via the Microsoft Teams meeting platform. Date/Time are specified in the "Events" section. To join the meeting please see the instructions included under "Files" or copy/paste the URL in the "Events" section into your browser. Attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the only forum to seek clarification directly from Project Manager, consultants and Town staff.
AWARD:
Bidder will quote a firm, fixed cost on the Proposal pages. Pricing shall include all costs associated with the project. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal.
Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid.
TERM:
The contract will begin immediately after award.
RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION:
Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the Town of Palm Beach may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interest when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
