PD Lateral Drain Extension 5 Project is located on the south side of W Mile 6 Rd, extending from Texan Rd through Iowa Rd, and connecting to the existing PD Lateral Drain, within station limits Sta. 0+00 to Sta. 38+00.
The project includes selective clearing and grubbing of the existing borrow ditch and the removal of an above-ground irrigation canal, which will be replaced with an underground irrigation line. This includes all required fittings, stand pipe, and Fresno valves as shown in the plans.
The scope also includes the excavation and fill of the existing borrow ditch, along with the installation of culverts and inlets. The outfall connection to the PD Lateral will be made by open-cutting into the existing above-ground concrete irrigation canal owned by Irrigation District #16. The canal will be restored with the addition of a liner.
All work will follow HCDD#1 standards and specifications.
