2025 Pavement Restriping

INVITATION FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois that sealed bids will be received for the following contract:

Park Forest 2025 Pavement Re-Striping

Sealed bids will be received until 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the office of the Director of Public Works, Village of Park Forest, 350 Victory Drive, Park Forest, Illinois, and will be publicly opened and read at that time.

Plans and specifications are available at the Public Works office, Village of Park Forest, 350 Victory Drive, Park Forest, Illinois.

This work consists of: All mobilization, material, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the re-striping of approximately 15,000 feet of thermoplastic markings; 2,100 S.F of letters and symbols (Thermoplastic and Urethane); and Traffic Control needed to complete the project.

The Village reserves the right to refuse to issue plans, bid forms, and specifications to any person, firm, or corporation that it considers to be unqualified.  Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids, and to make such award as it may deem to be in the best interest of the Village.

No less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract.  The Village of Park Forest is located in Cook and Will Counties .
