2025 PAVEMENT RESTORATION PROJECTS

Project Description: Sealed Bids for the 2025 PAVEMENT RESTORATION PROJECTS will be received online by Reading Area Water Authority (RAWA), 1801 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19604 until 10:00 am local time on June 4, 2025. Online bids shall be submitted by way of the Penn Bid Program. Paper bids will not be accepted for this project. The Project work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment for paving several projects as described below.
1) 2025 Permanent trench pavement restoration for locations within the City of Reading and any other Reading Area Water Authority service areas to be completed in 2025 as shown in Bid documents.
Qualified bidders shall be able to demonstrate directly relevant experience with the installation of water facilities located in urban areas.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012.
The Reading Area Water Authority, Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
