2025 Pavement Maintenance Program

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
PETERS TOWNSHIP
WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Sealed Proposals will be received by Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at 610 East McMurray Road, McMurray, PA 15317, until 11:00 A.M., on Friday, April 4, 2025, for the following:

Resurfacing of approximately 79,510 square yards on various roads throughout the Township. The base bid includes approximately 46,985 square yards of rotomilling and profiling; 5,520 tons of Superpave WMA 19.0 mm Binder Course; 7,975 tons of Superpave WMA 9.5 mm Fine Grade Scratch and Wearing Courses; installation of 76 feet of 8”-15” storm sewers; repair or replacement of 102 inlets; traffic control; linestriping; lawn restoration; and other items incidental to the project. Also, three Add Alternates for an additional 3,050 square yards of roadway paving.

All proposals must be in the hands of Mark Zemaitis, Director of Engineering, Peters Township, 610 East McMurray Road, McMurray, PA  15317, before 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, April 4, 2025 and the same will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter in Council Chambers.  Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “2025 Pavement Maintenance Program”.  Copies of Bidding Documents are available for public inspection at the Peters Township Municipal Building, 610 East McMurray Road, McMurray, PA  15317.  Bidding Documents may be purchased for $ 100.00 per set.  No refund will be made for the return of any documents.  Bids shall only be considered valid if bidder is included on the official plan holders list.  Only the purchase of the plans and specifications from the Township will place purchaser on the official plan holders list.

Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) is required.  Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages will be paid on this project.  Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by an executed Anti Collusion Affidavit on the PennDOT form provided.

The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
