Patient Satisfaction Survey
Description:

As the medical enterprise of Stony Brook University, Stony Brook University Hospital (State University of New York at Stony Brook), launched a major marketing campaign in 2008 and uses the brand positioning tagline “The Best Ideas in Medicine”. Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, which is Suffolk County’s only children’s hospital, was launched in 2010 and is home of “The Best Ideas in Medicine for Kids.”

Stony Brook University Hospital has subsequently grown into an 818-bed, multi-hospital system with the addition of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and Eastern Long Island Hospital. Now it’s time to take Stony Brook University Hospital the next level, to leverage the foundation of the brand campaigns of the past decade and put them to work to hit meaningful objectives with proven, deliverable results.

The primary goals of the Stony Brook University Hospital marketing campaign are to:

  • Increase brand awareness and preference
  • Increase market share in Suffolk County
  • Increase physician referrals
  • Increase consumer engagement and conversions across digital marketing channels
  • Increase staff/physician engagement and thereby improve the patient experience
  • Increase awareness and preference for Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University

The successful Bidder will develop and manage an integrated marketing/advertising campaign for Stony Brook University Hospital and SUNY Upstate Hospitals using television, radio, print, Web, digital and out-of-home initiatives. The potential vendor cannot currently be agency of record for any other hospital or healthcare facility on Long Island or in New York City. If the potential vendor is currently agency of record for any hospital or healthcare facility outside of New York City but located in the greater New York metropolitan market, it must provide a dedicated team for Stony Brook Medicine that does NOT also perform work on accounts for those hospital/healthcare clients. NOTE: The greater New York metropolitan area, as defined for these purposes, includes the Mid and Lower Hudson Valley; Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, Elizabeth, and Edison in New Jersey, and their vicinities; and Bridgeport, New Haven, Stamford, Waterbury, Norwalk, and Danbury in Connecticut, and their vicinities.

The contract will be for three (3) years with a two (2) year option to renew and must include all account management and services, creative development, and production costs associated with a comprehensive branding and marketing program including television, radio, print, Web, digital and out-of-home initiatives.
