The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Shiprock Service Unit located at U.S. Highway 491 North, Shiprock, NM 87420 intends to negotiate a single source award with Gaumard Scientific Co Inc. (UEI: CYBDTDZJ3J97), for *DRAFT* brand name HAL S5301, Super Tory S2220, advanced patient IV training arm; S402, advanced patient care male and female catheterization; S230, 1-year-old patient intraosseous infusion and injection leg; S407, lumbar puncture trainer; S411, Premie Hal S108, two appropriate bedside virtual monitors, installation, and a preventative maintenance plan with parts and labor included. The projected delivery date is four (4) months after receiving order/award (ARO).
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339999 – All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing with a small business size of 550 employees.
In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
This Notice of Intent to Single Source is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this Notice of Intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated brand name products may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be submitted no later than 2:00 PM (MDT) on April 18, 2025 via electronic mail to Dallas Begay, Purchasing Agent at Dallas.Begay@ihs.gov.
A determination by the Government on whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
