Request for Bid: Partial Roof Replacement at City Hall
Bids Due: Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., local time
This addendum includes the following information regarding the chiller unit:
The existing rooftop chiller shall remain in place and will not be removed or relocated as part of
this project.
The Contractor shall install the new roofing system by cutting and fitting the roofing membrane
around the existing chiller equipment and all associated supports, providing a neat, watertight
installation. The new roofing membrane shall be terminated and butted tightly against the
existing chiller curb, supports, and penetrations, with all flashing, sealants, and termination
details installed in accordance with the roofing manufacturer's written specifications to maintain
the integrity of the roofing system and preserve the manufacturer's warranty.
Any work required to properly flash, seal, and weatherproof the areas surrounding the existing
chiller shall be considered incidental to the project and included in the Contractor's bid. No
additional compensation will be provided for this work.
