Description:

The City of Bothell is soliciting bids for the demolition of 9 existing park structures and the removal and disposal of hazardous materials at the Former Wayne Golf Course (Front and Back 9 – Schedule A), and the North Creek Forest (Schedule B). The project is divided into two schedules (A–B) for bidding purposes.  Bids are due July 29th, 2026, at 3:00pm. An optional site visit will be held on July 21st, 2026, at 8:00am beginning at the Former Wayne Golf Course Front 9 – 16721 96th Ave NE, Bothell WA. 98011. For more details about the overall project and optional site visit, please refer to the bid advertisement. The project has a 50-working-day completion period.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Bothell will receive sealed bids for the following construction
project. Bids will be received by the receptionist inside Bothell City Hall, located at 18415 101st Ave
NE, (425) 806-6100, in the City of Bothell, Washington up to the hour of 3:00pm as determined by the
designated bid clock at said location, on July 29, 2026, after all bids will be publicly opened and read
to determine the apparent lowest bidder.
The Bothell Parks Structures Demolition and Abatement Project proposes to demolish 9 existing
structures, and the removal and proper disposal of hazardous materials found within existing structures at
two Bothell City Parks. The project is divided into two schedules, schedules A (Former Wayne Golf
Course Front and Back 9), and B (North Creek Forest) Demolition priorities are identified in the
following order: Schedule A then Schedule B. The bid period for this project opens July 15, 2026 and
bids will be received until July 29, 2026. The number of working days for Physical Completion of this

An optional site visit to all sites will occur on July 21, 2026, at the following times based on each location.

provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on
"Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Bothell". It is recommended that Bidders "Register" in
order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-
Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and
will need to periodically check the online plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders
Exchange of Washington at (425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or registration.
Construction plans, specifications and contract documents may also be examined at the City Hall reception
desk.
The City of Bothell, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat.
252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively
ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises
will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be
discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.

Financing of the project has been provided by local funds. The City of Bothell reserves the right to reject
any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to further make award of the project
to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City. Proposals are to be
submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All Proposals must be accompanied
by a certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond payable to the City of Bothell and in the
amount of not less than 5% of the total bid amount.
