Parks and Recreation Master Plan

The City of Union City (“The City”) is requesting proposals from qualified landscape architectural or park and recreation planning consulting firms to lead a comprehensive parks master planning process. The resulting park and recreation master plan (“Master Plan”) will be clear, concise and easily understood and provide a framework for decision makers in the planning, development and/or rehabilitation and maintenance of the City’s park and recreation facilities for a 15-year time horizon, which aligns with the 2040 general plan. Proactive public outreach and inclusive engagement with the Union City community will be a fundamental component of this Master Plan. The City desires a Master Plan that reflects the needs and desires of all members of the community. Consultants responding to this Request for Proposals (RFP) must demonstrate an expert ability to effectively engage the diverse Union City community.
