The City of Tahlequah is seeking sealed bids for mowing and upkeep of the City Parks. Locations include: Norris Park/Pavilion/Splash Pad/North Splash Pad/North of Walking Trail, Sequoyah Park/Brookside, Felts Park, South Ridge, Ross Park/Ross to First Street & Basin Bridges, Dog Park, City Hall/Library/County/Old CASA House/Parking Lot, Armory/Armory Parking Lot(Across street from Sandtech), Bluff Ave, Skate Park, Kaufman Park, Senior Citizen Wilson N. of Kaufman & May Ave, South & North Welcome Signs, College & South Street (Pie Section), the Hole, North of Parking Lot Norris Park (Behind Dumpster), Parking Lot ( Behind Abels Chiropractic), Sanitation, Police Department. Please contact Brian Speake, Parks & Rec Superintendent, at 918-822-4768 for any additional information. Brian Speake is available to offer a guided tour around the city's parks for reference. Schedule an appointment within the hours 7 to 3 if interested.
Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Tahlequah until 9:00 am on December 19, 2024. The sealed envelope must be legibly marked on the outside with the following information in the lower left corner: The word “BID”, Bid #2024-05, Parks Mowing, and the closing date. All submitted bids must be stamped as received by the City Clerk prior to this time. Bids received after time set for opening bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
The bids will be opened publicly on December 19, 2024 at 9:05 am in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of City Hall, 111 S. Cherokee Avenue.

Any proposal submitted that was obtained from an outside source other than City of Tahlequah will be considered an irregular proposal and will be eligible for rejection.
Bids may be held by the City of Tahlequah, Oklahoma for a period not to exceed sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
The right is reserved, as the City of Tahlequah, Oklahoma may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
