The Town of Breckenridge is requesting proposals from a consultant to conduct an evaluation of the Town’s current parking system and services and make recommendations of a long-term parking strategy encompassing all publicly available parking within town limits. Proposals will be accepted until 5pm Mountain Time on 10/24/2025.

All proposals shall be submitted to the Town of Breckenridge and shall be received via email by the Assistant Director of Public Works – Mobility, Sustainability, and Parking:

Parking Study

The Town is seeking a parking study to understand current usage and best practices for the Town’s existing parking demand to meet the needs of residents, including the workforce, visitors, and other vehicle operators seeking to park within town limits. An overarching goal of this study is to provide “Harmony of Quality of Life for Residents and Quality of Place for Visitors.”

The study should encompass all Town owned/operated parking reservoirs including but not limited to – on-street parking, surface lots, garage/structure parking, and any privately owned area that is generally open to the public for paid parking. The study will include recommendations for best management practices of the Town’s parking program in light of the Town’s goals regarding reducing congestion and encouraging usage of alternative transportation options.
