2026 Parking Lot Seal Coat

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for seal coating of parking lot D, M and entrance and east lot at Lakeside Recreation Facility known as section 26-01003-72-GM, for the City of Galesburg. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., local time, January 21, 2026, at the office of the Purchasing Agent located in the Finance Department at City Hall, 55 West Tompkins Street, Galesburg, IL 61401; and at that time, publicly opened and read aloud in the Basement Conference Room, located in City Hall. Bid documents are available at the office of the Purchasing Agent and on the city website at www.ci.galesburg.il.us. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The contract award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg; price and other factors considered.
