Parking Lot #1 and Other Site Improvements

Project Description: Ocean County College (College) has determined that upgrades must be made to Parking Lot #1 and other areas on campus. The Parking Lot #1 & 1R upgrades include pavement repair and resurfacing, lot striping, upgraded emergency call boxes and the addition of islands, curbs and speed bumps as necessary to control traffic and redirect pedestrians. The current bus route is modified to ensure the safety of pedestrians walking through the lot. The sewer line from Building #30 to the utility easement across South College Drive must also be remedied to stop backups from occurring. Installation of electric vehicle charging stations and the associated electrical work along the east side of Parking Lot #1 & #1R will be an add alternate to the project. Other areas on campus that are included in the scope of this RFP are striping of the entire loop road on North, West & South College Drives, upgrading the emergency call boxes throughout the campus, and constructing a dedicated ADA parking lot in close proximity to the Gateway Building #101.
