Project Goals
The City of Harrisburg aims for a complete renovation of the Reservoir Park Spray Alley Splash Pad play area, picnic facilities, and walkways. Navarro & Wright Consulting Engineers, Inc. (N&W) has prepared final construction documents (Exhibit B - Layout Plan), which will guide all construction activities (see Exhibit B). The plans detail the location and placement of all project elements, with examples of desired amenities and equipment provided in this solicitation.
Key features include:
• Fully handicap accessible park areas.
• ADA transfer stations for access to features, amenities, and activity panels.
• Groundcover surfaces meeting ASTM F1292 standards.
• Play equipment tailored to the developmental needs of children, ensuring a variety that minimizes wait times and fosters emotional, cognitive, communicative, perceptual-motor, physical, and social development.
