RFB - Park Maintenance Building Extension

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The City of Galesburg will receive Bids for the Parks Maintenance Building Addition at the City of Galesburg, City Hall – Basement Conference room, Galesburg Illinois 61401, until 11:00 AM local time on May 21, 2025, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Questions prior to bid opening shall be submitted electronically to cbasham@klingner.com. Include in the Subject Line: Parks Maintenance Building Addition – Question Submittal. Reference Specification Section or Plan Sheet in email. No question shall be taken over the phone.

A non-mandatory pre-bidding conference will be held on May 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM, at the project site at 3500 Lincoln Park Drive, Galesburg, IL 61401.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to City of Galesburg, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.

Compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations is required.

City of Galesburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept other than the lowest bid, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received.

Bids may be held by City of Galesburg for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
