NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Arlington, TN will receive sealed bids at Arlington Public Works at 11491 Memphis Arlington Rd, Arlington, TN 38002 until 1:00 PM (local time) on October 23, 2025 for:

The Construction of: Town of Arlington Forrest Street Park Field Lighting

The scope of this project is to install sports lighting and other associated appurtenances for the athletic fields within Forrest Street Park located near the intersection of Forrest Street Park and Griffin Road in Arlington, Shelby County, Tennessee. The project will consist of installation of sports lights, pole, wiring, and additional electrical enhancements.

A 'thumb drive' containing Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of Kimley-Horn, 6750 Poplar Avenue, Suite 600, Memphis, TN 38138, by paying a non-refundable fee of $100.00, in the form of a check made payable to “Kimley-Horn & Associates”, per ‘thumb drive’. Receipt of payment will place Bidder on an approved list.

A non-mandatory pre bid meeting will be held on October 08, 2025 at 10:00 AM (local time) at Arlington Public Works, 11491 Memphis Arlington Rd, Arlington, TN 38002. Any questions and/or requested product substitutions related to the bid documents must be submitted by 5:00 PM on October 14, 2025. A final addendum shall be submitted by 12:00 PM (Noon) on October 20, 2025.

Each bid must be submitted on forms provided in Bid Documents and either accompanied by a Bid Bond, properly executed on the form provided, or Cashier’s Check drawn on a National or Tennessee Bank in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price.

Bids filed as provided herein shall be publicly opened on October 23, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Arlington Public Works, 11491 Memphis Arlington Rd, Arlington, TN 38002.

Bids received after the time set for opening of bids, shall not be considered and will be returned unopened.
