REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Painting and Water Tank Rehabilitation Project
City of COTTER, Arkansas
Date of Publication: December 7, 2025.
The City of COTTER is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for painting and rehabilitation of (2) Water Storage tanks and Tank Maintenance Plans. (1) Highway Tank is a 90x30 Welded Steel Standpipe located at 751 W Main Street, Gassville, AR and (2) Powell Tank is a 12x44’ Riveted Steel Ground Storage Tank located at 621 Powell Avenue, Cotter, AR
The City of COTTER, Arkansas will receive proposals from qualified firms to contract for water tank painting and rehabilitation of the 90x30 Standpipe and 12x44 Ground Storage Tanks in COTTER. Please provide a price for rehabilitation of each tank as detailed in the following pages. Parties interested in this Request for Proposals may obtain a copy of the RFP and Specifications from the Cotter Mayor at mayor@cotterar.gov or COTTER City Hall, 115 McLean Ave. Cotter, AR 72626. All information outlined in the R.F.P., along with any other pertinent facts necessary for a proper evaluation of this proposal, should be submitted in duplicate, sealed, and mailed or delivered to the COTTER City Hall, on the date and time designated. A 5% five percent bid bond shall be submitted with bid proposal.
The City of COTTER reserves the right to waive formalities in any proposal, and to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part with or without cause and/or to accept the proposal that in its judgment will be in the best interest of The City of COTTER. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of COTTER until [1:00 ] PM on [ January 27th 2026 at which time said proposals will be recorded and turned over to City Officials for careful evaluation. The following information must be listed on the outside of the envelope.

The Owner reserves the right to examine and evaluate all proposals before a decision is made and announced. There is no timeframe for these evaluations and proposals pricing should be good for 90 days.
