Gas Department Shops – 215 N. Linden Street

Windows

• Paint three (3) windows.

• Each window is approximately 4 feet × 7 feet.

• Total estimated window area: 84 square feet.

• Paint color for the window trim shall be included in the bid.

Eaves

• Prepare and paint approximately 136 linear feet of eaves, approximately 18 inches in height.

• Include appropriate preparation and finish coating.

Santa Workshop

Eaves

• Prepare and paint approximately 182 linear feet of eaves, approximately 18 inches in height.

• Include all necessary preparation, priming, and finish coats.

West Side of Building

• Paint the west side of the building white.

• Approximate dimensions: 28 feet × 14 feet.

• Estimated area: 392 square feet.

Paint Colors

The contractor shall include all paint colors and finishes required for the project in the bid. Color selections for trim and windows will be provided by the City. The color reference provided with the bid documents shall be used for the applicable trim and window colors.

Contractor Responsibilities

• Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, ladders, lifts, and safety equipment necessary to complete the work.

• Properly prepare all surfaces before painting.

• Protect adjacent surfaces, equipment, landscaping, and property from paint and overspray.

• Remove or properly dispose of project-related debris.

• Complete the work in a professional and workmanlike manner.

• Coordinate any necessary access with the City.

• Repair or correct areas where paint does not provide adequate coverage or finish.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Walk-Through

A mandatory pre-bid walk-through will be held on:

Attendance at the mandatory walk-through is required for contractors wishing to submit a bid.

Bid Deadline

September 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM

Bids received after the deadline may be considered non-responsive and will not be accepted.

Bid Requirements

• Total lump-sum bid price.

• Confirmation that the contractor attended the mandatory pre-bid walk-through.

• Estimated time required to complete the work.

• Identification of any exclusions or assumptions.

• Contractor name, address, telephone number, and email address.

• Proof of applicable licensing and insurance, if required by the City.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and select the bid determined to be in the best interest of the City.

Questions and Site Conditions

Bidders are responsible for reviewing the site conditions and scope of work prior to submitting a bid. Any questions regarding the project should be addressed to the City prior to the bid deadline.
