Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance

Dakota County is pleased to announce the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for private Minnesota Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) insurance coverage.

Proposals due: May 27 at 3 p.m.​

While the county is a participating entity in this initiative, it will not be involved in the administration, evaluation or oversight of the solicitation process.

Through this initiative, the county aims to establish a long-term, strategic partnership that delivers sustained value and reliable service. The continuation of any resulting agreement will be based on the provider's ability to offer competitive pricing and maintain a high standard of service delivery. Please note that the county reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities and award a contract deemed to be in the best interest of the participating group.

Dakota County will not offer any further communication, clarification or details regarding this RFP. This notice will serve as the county's official and final public statement on the matter.
