Description

Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, “PPPL”, requires a comprehensive, high-availability hardware and software maintenance support contract. This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks proposals from qualified, factory-certified security systems integrators. The selected service provider will ensure continuous operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and rapid emergency troubleshooting for PPPL’s integrated electronic physical security platforms.



Mandatory Compliance: All operations, installations, testing, and maintenance activities must be performed in strict accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for PACS and VASS, Rev 0, issued February 2026, Attachment #16.1

• RS2 AccessIT (Access Control Software)

• HID PIV Class (High-Assurance Identity/Credential Validation)

• Avigilon (Video Management Software / VASS)

• Easy Lobby (Visitor Management System)

Covered Field Infrastructure & Hardware

• Access Control Devices: Card readers, high-assurance PIV readers, Request to Exit (REX) components, door monitoring controllers, interface panels, lock power supplies, and backup batteries.

• Video Surveillance Infrastructure: Video recording servers, network switches, network storage arrays, indoor/outdoor cameras, PTZ units, and specialized environmental enclosures.

• Server & Workstation Infrastructure: Access control servers, database management systems, security workstations, and monitoring consoles.
