Description
The Bureau of Hepatitis, HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (BHHS) works to improve the lives of New Yorkers by ending transmission, illness, stigma, and inequities related to viral hepatitis, HIV and STIs using an approach that is strengths-based, community-driven, and intersectional. Ensuring that New Yorkers have equitable access to STI services, including STI screening and treatment, is essential to this mission, and particularly important in light of recent increases in reported STI cases in NYC, and the slow resumption of STI care-seeking practices following the COVID-19 pandemic. With anticipated funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s successor grant to Strengthening STD Prevention and Control for Health Departments (STD PCHD) (19-1901), BHHS STI Program seeks up to three contractors to provide STI services for uninsured New Yorkers (including those electing to self-pay) who reside in neighborhoods with the highest chlamydia, gonorrhea, or syphilis case rates. Release Date October 16, 2025 Pre-Proposal Conference The Pre-Proposal Conference will be held virtually on 11/03/2025 at 11:00AM EST. All those interested in attending the conference must RSVP for the conference to RFP@health.nyc.gov (subject “ STI RFP PPC Attendee ”) by 10/30/2025, 2:00 PM EST to receive the link to attend. In order to be addressed during the Conference, questions must be e-mailed to RFP@health.nyc.gov no later than 10/30/2025, 2:00 PM EST. Otherwise, all questions must be received by the Questions Deadline (11/10/2025). Please include " STI RFP Question " in the subject.
