The City intends to engage a single vendor for provision of the design, development, implementation, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the all-inclusive turnkey School Bus Stop-Arm Camera Enforcement Program for approximately 250 School Bus Stop-Arm cameras throughout the five boroughs of New York City. This program will expand the City’s current automated enforcement portfolio to continue to play a central role in the City’s Vision Zero program enhancing public health and safety by discouraging motorists from disobeying traffic rules that could result in unsafe conditions.
Responses to this RFP must be submitted via PASSPort. To access the RFP, vendors should visit the PASSPort public Portal at nyc.gov/passport and click on the “ Procurement Navigator .” This will take you to the Public Portal of all procurements in the PASSPort system. To quickly locate the RFX, insert the E-PIN 84125P0001 into the Keywords search field. In order to respond to the Request for Proposals, vendors must create an account within the PASSPort system if they have not already done so. This procurement is subject to participation goals for Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) as required by Section 6-129 of the New York Administrative Code. The M/WBE goal for this project is 30%.
