P45-129: Design/Build Services for the New Prince George's Plaza Multigenerational Center

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC or Commission) is requesting Proposals from qualified construction firms to provide Design/Build services for a Multigenerational Center to be located at 6700 Adelphi Road, Hyattsville, Maryland 20782.

The new Prince George’s Plaza Multigenerational Center (PGP) will be located on the current sites of the former Beth Torah Congregation and Prince George’s Plaza Community Center locations and proximity to several amenities as part of the burgeoning Hyattsville Crossing neighborhood. The site is connected to the Nine Ponds Trail, adjacent to the Hyattsville Library, and walkable from Northwestern High School and several nearby neighborhoods. The design seeks to create a regional hub for social connection and fitness. The project will involve the demolition of the existing community center and Beth Torah congregation building and adjacent lands for a six-acre site (See Attachments 4A, 4B, and 4C).
