RE: ADDENDUM #1, BID NO. 20260408, OYSTER CREEK FLOW ENHANCEMENT
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the additions,
deletions and revisions as listed herein.

QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: Is the herbicide license to be submitted with the bid?
A1: Yes.
Q2: Which herbicide licenses are you requiring?
A2: Commercial Applicator License from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services
(FDACS).
Q3: Much of the specifications and requirements in this bid are Construction related. Please delineate which
specifications will be applicable specifically to this project. Are the below items applicable?
A3: Please refer to the sections and responses below:
Survey: You need to be able to delineate the work zone from the private property.
As Builts: Not required.
Retainage: Yes, retainage is part of this contract.
CPM: A construction schedule is required.
MOT: MOT plan is required in the event the Contractor needs to work from the roadway for the
safety of the traveling public.
Haul Route: All material is required to be legally disposed of. A haul route to the disposal site is
required.
CPM Schedule: A construction schedule is required.
Turbidity & Erosion Control Installation and Reporting: An appropriate plan for turbidity and erosion
control during construction is required.
Please confirm actual total length of project: This is a per acre contract. The approximate length is
5,900 feet.
Which of the items in SP-08 will actually be required at the Pre – Construction Conference: The
following will NOT be required at the pre-construction conference, but if the need arises during
construction, they will be required at that time. Specifically, if a roadway or structure is damaged
by the Contractor and needs to be repaired.

SP-20: Homeowner notification for the Oyster Creek Subdivision will handled by the HOA. The
Contractor should reach out to the resident on the San Casa parcel before accessing the
property. Contact information will be provided at the pre-construction conference by the County.
TS – 03 Staked Silt Fence – The installation of Silt fence will cause more disturbance than the cleaning
activities. There is no earthmoving or soil disturbance:
Staked silt fence will only be required if a possible erosion problem is detected due to the
construction operation where it would help. The onsite County inspector will work with the
contractor on any issues that may arise.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260408. Bidders
are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
