Oxygen Mask Light items FSC 6220

In accordance with FAR 7.107-5(c)(1), the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Philadelphia intends to consolidate requirements for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Single Award Contract for Oxygen Mask Light assembly items. The acquisition comprises three (3) Part-Numbered Items, which are all considered sole source to Gentex Corporation (CAGE: 60240). The required items are: Mask Light Assembly NSN 6220-01-620-1410; External Assembly, Mask Light NSN 6220-01-621-4540, and Internal Assembly, Mask Light 6220-01-620-1407. The acquisition will be accomplished using Other than Full and Open Competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement”.

This consolidation meets the requirements of FAR 7.107 and the benefits of the consolidation acquisition would substantially exceed the benefits that would be derived from an alternative approach. Therefore, the Government found that consolidation is necessary and justified and shall be available for seven (7) days prior to the release of the solicitation of this requirement. The solicitation is anticipated for release on or around November 8, 2024.
