Oxendine Science Data Center Renovation

PRE-BID MEETING (NON-MANDATORY) An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at: UNC Pembroke Pinchbeck Facilities Building Large Conference Room 141 128A Facilities Drive Pembroke, NC 28372 A site tour will follow. The meeting will address project-specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms. This project consists of the installation of one (1) new Self-Contained IT Pod and its associated outdoor condensing units, new raised floor tiles, new ceiling tiles, and new lighting fixtures. The project intent is to provide appropriate and efficient cooling for the Data Center, as the existing units are at or near end of life and no longer providing adequate cooling to the space. Sealed proposals, including SCO ID# 24-28824-02A and project information marked on the outside of the bid envelope, will be received up to 2:00 pm on June 23, 2026 by: University of North Carolina at Pembroke Attention: Mrs. Amanda Spayd, Business Officer Pinchbeck Facilities Building 128A Facilities Drive, Room 104, Pembroke, NC 28372 The bids will be immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud in Pinchbeck Facilities Building, Conference Room 141 for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment entering into the Oxendine Science Data Center Renovation Project.
