Oxarat Creek Flume Replacement

WSA is undertaking replacement work on a 90-year old timber box flume located approximately 75 km South of Maple Creek in SW ¼ 21-06-27 W3M, immediately west of the Cypress Reservoir. The flume carries water from Oxarat Creek to the south side of the West Diversion Canal to service approximately 399 acres of flood irrigation. The existing flume is to be removed and disposed of, and the new CSP aerial crossing is to be constructed in its place.

WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
