Overlay of approximately 7,871 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete and approximately 56,354 SY of cold milling of existing asphalt/concrete

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
The City of Sherwood is accepting bids addressed to the City Clerk, 2199 East Kiehl Avenue, Sherwood, AR 72120 for overlay of approximately 7,871 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete and approximately 56,354 SY of cold milling of existing asphalt/concrete. The sealed bids will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 and will then be opened and read aloud.
The City reserves the right to reduce the total amount of work to be done as required by budget restraints. Also, work added or remaining shall be at the same unit price as submitted in the proposal.
Proposals will be considered on the basis of cost, the bidder’s financial responsibility, their equipment, and their past performance in completing similar work. A bid bond at the amount of five percent of bid proposal shall be submitted with the bid proposal.
The City of Sherwood reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and to accept the proposal deemed to be in their best interest.
