Overhead Crane Maintenance, Testing, and Certification - JFTB

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Overhead Crane Maintenance, Testing, and Certification located at Joint Forces Training Base, 11200 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, CA 90720.  Work to include: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to conduct quarterly inspections and preventive maintenance for seven cranes..  All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov with the subject title BID FOR EVENT# 36749 - DO NOT OPEN.

Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk on 9/30/2025, at 9:00 AM at Joint Forces Training Base, 11200 Lexington Drive, Los Alamitos, CA 90720. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Prospective bidders shall not proceed directly to the job site unless directed to do so in writing by the Contracting Officer. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Joy Lubic at Joy.Lubic@cmd.ca.gov.

Prospective bidders MUST sign-in prior to the start of the pre-bid job walk, attend the entire pre-bid job walk and be present for roll call at the conclusion of the pre-bid job walk. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk will be considered non-responsive and will not be allowed to bid on this project.

The prime contractor MUST Possess a type C-61/D-21 - Limited Specialty/Machinery and Pumps License or subcontract to one.

All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Joy Lubic, at Joy.Lubic@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 10/7/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 36749.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Opening and must be signed and included with the Bid. The bid opening will be held on 10/16/2025 at 2:00 PM.
