Summary

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections is looking to purchase five ballistic shields for the highly trained Special Tactical & Response (STAR) Team. These ballistic shields will be used statewide to deal with institutional unrest. The current shields are due to expire soon so having good quality shields is essential for the STAR TEAM to carry out critical functions of their job safely and securely.

Specification requirements include:

Rated to NIJ0108.o8 Level III Rifle Protection
3"X 9" View Port or better
Handle, Pad, & Forearm Strap
Weight of 15lbs or less
20"x30"size

These shields will be delivered to:
Ohio Department of Rehabilitations & Corrections Central Office (Special Operations) ST Route 762
Orient, ohio 43146

AWARD WILL GO TO SUPPLIER THAT MEETS 100% OF THE BID REQUIREMENTS. ANY QUOTES THAT DON'T MEET 100% OF THE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
