Orleans Correctional Perimeter Stone

Project Description:

Orleans Correctional Facility seeks a vendor to provide delivery, distribution, and spreading of 1700 tons of #1 clean, crushed limestone and the disposal of all waste related to the project. All work will be performed on facility property in accordance with the specifications outlined below:

Project Specifications:

Perimeter Fenced area is approximately 5000ft. Contractor will provide 1700 tons of #1 clean crushed limestone and apply new stone coverage of 1” to 2” within perimeter fencing.

There are two entrances, and both are in the Facility Truck Trap. Size of entrance gates are limited. Dump trucks or equipment larger than a pick up truck will not fit. Vehicles over 7 feet tall will not fit. Contractor should provide a means of distributing stone over top of existing fence. Example (Stone elevator or slinger type of machinery) Fencing contains multiple zone sensors that cannot be disturbed.

Potential Bidders must attend the mandatory site visit on November 4, 2024 in order to assess the layout of the facility grounds and aid on the developing work plan. Questions during the site visit will be permitted.

Work is to be accomplished Monday thru Friday, 7:30AM – 3:30PM. Any piles of stone, located in fencing must be spread to grade before end of day. If any razor ribbon needs to be moved/adjusted, it will be placed back immediately and not left open.
