Organized Residential Solid Waste Collection Services

The City of Monticello (City) is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the continuation of organized residential solid waste collection services for household garbage and recycling. The contract will apply to single family residences, apartments, or condominiums for up to three (3) units. Solid waste shall be municipal solid waste materials generated in the normal ordinary course by household units within the city.

Currently the City of Monticello has approximately 4,800 household units.

There is no expressed or implied obligation for the City to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. The City of Monticello shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by the proposer including but not limited to expenses associated with the preparation of the proposal, attendance at interviews, preparation of a compensation (fee) schedule or final contract negotiations.
