The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to award of a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Orbit Advanced Technologies, Inc., 650 Louise Drive, Suite 100, Warminster, PA 18974 (CAGE Code 0GDL2), for the upgrade of an owned tapered anechoic chamber supporting of the U.S. Navy (USN) NSWC PCD mission. NSWC PCD currently owns and utilizes a tapered anechoic chamber that was designed and installed by Orbit Advanced Technologies, Inc. in 2006. The specialty RF absorber, positioner, controller, and test equipment used in the operation of this RF anechoic chamber have been in use since 2006 and need being replaced and/or upgraded to modern baseline as the current equipment has been determined to be at the end of its useful life. 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) – Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
