OPTC Kitchen and Dining Improvements Project

Project Description

A general overview of the contract scope includes: All labor, tools, equipment, materials, temporary facilities and profit & overhead to renovate the Olympic Training Center kitchen and dining area, originally constructed in 1988. The renovation will improve the maintainability of the kitchen space, make adjustments to the servery, and expand the dining area. The remainder of the building will be fully occupied during construction. The renovation area is approximately 9,353 square feet. Work shall be completed as per the Schedule of Important Dates and Times.

Notice to Bidders: Wednesday 16 October 2024.

Pre-Bid: Thursday 24 October 2024 @ 11 AM (Local Time).

End of Questions: Thursday 31 October 2024 @ 2 PM (Local Time).

Addendum*: Friday 01 November 2024.

Bids Due: Thursday 07 November 2024 @ 2 PM (Local Time).

Pre-Award Conference(s): Tuesday 19 November 2024.

Earliest Date for Mobilization**: Tuesday 18 March 2025.

Critical Milestones:

• Submittals Complete: 27 February 2025.
• Dining Room Available for Furniture Install: 02 June 2025.
• Substantial Completion: 02 July 2025.
• Owner Occupancy: 17 July 2025.
• Close Out Complete: 31 July 2025.

*Latest targeted date of Addendum release. The Owner may release Addendum prior or later if required.

**“Earliest Date for Mobilization” is targeted at the start of work which would interfere with Owner’s Operations.

Project Cost Estimate:

General Trades Contract (G): Between $2,250,000 and $2,500,000

Plumbing and Fire Protection Contract (P): Between $250,000 and $300,000

Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Contract (H): Between $700,000 and $750,000

Electrical Contract (E): Between $700,000 and $750,000

Bidding Documents and Registered Bidders

Only Registered Bidders will be allowed to submit a Bid.
