Project Description: Release Date: Friday, May 30, 2025 @ 9:00am
Response Date: Friday, June 13, 2025 @ 3:00pm
Project start date: ASAP upon contract acceptance
Appointments available for site visit on June 5th & 6th after 2:00pm.
Contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials and equipment to perform the following:
1. Supply and install one (1) new 80kw natural gas generator with the following options:
standby 80kW natural gas generator, 208/120 volts, three-phase, 4-wire 60Hz, 1800 RPM
one (1) 300amp Circuit Breaker, 3-pole, 600-volt AC, 80% UL
1" flexible fuel line and strainer
Aluminum sound attenuated enclosure
Deep Sea controller
Battery charger w/rack and cables
2-year Base Warranty
Operation & maintenance manuals
2. Supply and install one (1) new ASCO 400amp, 208/120-volt, 3-phase, 4-wire,3-pole, open-transition, Automatic Transfer Switch in a NEMA 3R enclosure with the following options:
Source available lights
Manual by-pass of transfer
Automatic engine exerciser
ATS position indicating contacts
Heater w/ thermostat
3. Install the new ATS on the exterior of the building near the generator location.
4. Intercept the existing circuit feeding panels KP-1 and KP-2 and extend to the new ATS.
5. Supply and install new line and load conduits and cables from the KP-1 panel to the new ATS.
6. Supply and install new conduits and cables from the ATS to the generator as required.
7. Supply and install one (1) new conduit and cables from panel KP-1 to the generator for the block heater and battery charger circuits.
8. Supply and install new gas piping, valves and pressure regulator as required to extend the existing gas line to the new generator.
9. Provide the necessary crane and rigging to install the new generator.
10. Perform start up and commissioning on he newly installed equipment.
The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (PA PWA) requires that contractors and subcontractors on public works projects in Pennsylvania pay their workers at least the prevailing wage rates for their respective crafts or classifications. Collegium Charter School is publicly funded and therefore falls under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
Contract Terms:
25% deposit upon contract acceptance.
Net 30 days after project completion.
