Description:

Lake County Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to deliver innovative and impactful services that address the local impacts of the opioid epidemic. Funding is available through the County’s share of California’s Opioid Settlement Funds (OSF), with a focus on High Impact Abatement Activities (HIAA) as defined by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).

Priority service areas include:

Mobile harm reduction and outreach

Recovery housing and sober living programs

Residential treatment services (ASAM 3.1–3.7)

Safe spaces and prevention programming for youth

Transitional Age Youth (TAY) services

Naloxone distribution and overdose prevention

Proposals that utilize OSF as match funding for capital or infrastructure grants (e.g., BHCIP or Prop 1 Behavioral Health Bond) are strongly encouraged and will receive additional consideration.
