Opioid Settlement Funds Request for Funding

OPIOID SETTLEMENT FUNDS REQUEST FOR FUNDING (RFF)

The City of Lawrence invites proposals from organizations, (Individual/ sole proprietor, LLC’s, non-profit or for profit), interested in requesting funding from Opioid Settlement Funds to assist the city with the goals set forth in the Lawrence Opioid Comprehensive Plan.

Project Categories:

• S ports and Athletics Opioid Abuse Prevention Programs

• Gyms or Fitness Centers focusing on serving youths 24 and under

• Workforce / Technical Training Programs

Applications are deemed responsive if submitted on time, all questions are answered, a detailed budget and timeline is included, and all mandatory sign off forms are completed. Forms include; Conflict of Interest, Certification & Applicant Signature, and W9.

Funds will be provided after receiving sufficient invoices, reports, timesheets, or payroll reports. Funding is subject to yearly settlement amounts, and City Council approval. While funding is available contracts will be for one (1) year, with an option to renew for one (1) additional year at the discretion of the City.

All benchmarks set forth by the Office of Community Development must be met and adhered too, funding must be spent in accordance to such benchmarks barring the risk of contract termination.

Proposals from are due at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 200 Common Street, Room #107, Lawrence, MA 01840 on or before 11:00 a.m. on Monday, DECEMBER 23, 2024.

All proposals submitted in response to this Request for Funding will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the provisions established with the RFF.

The City of Lawrence reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or take whatever action is in the best interest of the City.
