Bid Description:
Opioid Settlement funds are appropriated in the state budget each year so are awarded on a state fiscal year cycle (starting July 1). All submitted applications will be reviewed by members of Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee (OSAC) and Committee members will provide input on which proposals shall be further considered. Applicants who receive majority support for consideration will be asked to submit a detailed budget and to attend an OSAC meeting between October and December 2025 to present their proposal in more detail. Final decisions on what proposals to recommend for funding will be based on OSAC majority vote and the amount of funding available. Recommendations will be formally submitted to the Legislature in January 2026 for consideration in the fiscal year 2027 state budget process.
