Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities is seeking quotes to purchase two open hopper pump assemblies for the cake feed at our dryer facility.

INVITATION FOR QUOTES
Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities is seeking quotes to purchase two open hopper
pump assemblies for the cake feed at our dryer facility. The current pump is Seepex brand.
Alternate brands must use the original manufacturer's drawings and specifications to
provide an appropriate replacement meeting city specifications including base mounting
dimensions and layout. The pump must handle dewatering cake 19-28%. Hopper size of
1000mm x 400mm. A minimum 12-month material/workmanship warranty must be
supplied. Price quote must include delivery lead-time and cost of shipping to: Elledge
Wastewater Treatment Plant, 2799 Griffith Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, 336-397-
7647. City staff will install the pump.
The original Seepex pump's spec sheet is attached. Should you require further information,
please contact Michael Tilley at michaeldt@cityofws.org. Vendors must RSVP by 3:00
PM, March 17 and make a site visit by March 20 by contacting Michael Tilley at
michaeldt@cityofws.org in order to quote this purchase.
